Passing of Grades again!
Huhu sino sino nanaman kaya ang babagsak? Anyway, am just the one whos computing their grades from their performance. I really hate failing student but if/she doesnt deserve to pass i really have to fail them. Studying takes a lot of time in accomplish all of the subjects in order to pass, thats why student should avoid being lazy specially in class discussion. Digital Lantern Project
I gave my class a project in Logic Circuit II about the application of the IC in reality, like flip-flops, clock pulse generator and counters.
Ill post their work here so everybody could see what they created on their own after finishing the subject.
Not everybody had a chance to experience making this kind of projects. In my college days i wanted this kind of things to happen but not all of us had a chance to create this applications.
In some reason the creator of this project after finishing or making it work feels good about it because they never though they could do it on their own. For me i feel proud to myself and to my student who will accomplish this task i gave them. Its like making impossible things to become possible “Mission Impossible”.
Vector graphics vs Bitmap
What is vector?
There may be more to it, but I will say what I have learned over time…
in short there are two types of graphics – bitmap or vector. Bitmap is made up of dots and vector is made up of mathematical calculations which form shapes. Are you lost? Well, I am not going to go into so much detail but the main idea I want to get across is the practical quality difference is found when scaling the graphic. Since when you scale graphic object made of dots, the computer has to guess how to re-place all those dots over a larger or smaller area of the screen and when doing so it messes up slightly and usually comes out blotchy.
But when creating a vector graphic, the computer just re-uses that same mathematical calculation system to create the same shape exactly but in a different size.
Vector graphics are generally used for print. To retain the sharp crisp quality and re-sizing abilities.
Photoshop is NOT a vector program – When you create a shape using the shape tool or design a custom shape with the pen tool . You shouldmake sure not to rasterize it. Rasterizing it will flatten it out to a bitmap graphic. If you keep it as is..it will remain just like a vector graphic.
Adobe illustrator is a vector program and logos should generally be done in this program as opposed to photoshop.
If you love photoshop and dont know illustrator…you should know..ITS EASY and its very similar and worth it for all those print projects and logo projects.

Show screensaver tab in displasy property using gpedit.msc and registry…
GPEDIT.MSC
* Click Start and then Run.
* Type gpedit.msc in the Run dialog box.
* Press ENTER on your keyboard. In the Group Policy Editor navigate to:
User Configuration > Administrative Templates >
Control Panel > Display
Double-click Hide Screen Saver tab.
* Select Not Configured.
REGEDIT.EXE
* Click Start and then Run.
* Type regedit.exe in the Run dialog box.
* Press ENTER on your keyboard.
* Navigate to:
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System
* Right-click NoDispScrSavPage to select Modify.
* Change the value to 0.
* Navigate to:
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System
* Right-click NoDispScrSavPage to select Modify.
* Change the value to 0.
* Quit the Registry Editor (Regedit.exe).
